Auld Special Edition 26 Year Old Spicy Single Malt
The last few remaining bottles! From our Auld Special Edition range, a lovely 26 year old first-fill bourbon hogshead. Distilled in 1997 at the Speyside Disillery in Kingussie.
Non-chill filtered and never any colouring added, bottled at cask strength of 45%.
Only 124 bottles were produced.
Bottled with the intention of drinking, there is no secondary packaging. A whisky-lover's dream dram.
Available only on our website and at the Moffat Distillery.
TASTING NOTES
On the nose: Creamy caramel laced with oaky vanilla. Sweet and velvety, warm toffee apples.
On the palate: Sweetness is quickly wrapped in a cinnamon spice. Layers of star anise, leather, all-spice and raisin emerge over time. Ripe golden plums.
The finish: Apple pie a-la-mode and salted caramel lingers. A long, satisfying finish.
