Moffat Moonshine - Ex-Bourbon Cask

Not quite whisky, definitely past the New Make Spirit stage, this single malt Scottish spirit has been aged in a first-fill ex-Bourbon American Standard Barrel for just over a year. The first wood-fired whisky in the making, this Moonshine is made out doors over a living wood flame. Hand-crafted at every step of the process in small batches. 

Creamy, with notes of caramel, vanilla and fruit, it's already beautifully balanced. 

Gold medal awarded from the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2025 with 96 points. Available here on our website, or pop in to the Moffat Distillery to have a wee nip.

Bottled at 48.4%, no chill-filter or added colour. 50cl.
