The Local Dram: Queen of the Hebrides
Our first Single Malt Scotch bottled under the Local Dram collection. This cask was originally selected for one of our blends, however, it was absolutely stunning as is.
A single cask, ex-Bourbon Islay single malt Scotch. Aged 9 years and bottled at cask strength of 58.5%.
One the nose: Very pronounced notes of leather, cigar leaf and raw cacao bean, with hints of cherry pits.
On the palate: Syrupy mouthfeel, with flavours of sweet dried fruits and mixed spice.
On the finish: Peat smoke with continued sweetness.
Perfect for the Islay malt lover or those with an appreciation of complex whiskies.
